AILET (ALL INDIA LAW ENTRANCE TEST)

AILET is a National Level Admission Examination which helps student get admission in National Law University, Delhi National Law University, Delhi (University of Law), abbreviated as NLUD, is a specialized law university and one of the most prestigious law schools in India, offering courses at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

Pattern of the written Examination:


All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) for admission to the UG program at the National Law University, Delhi is conducted in December.

The AILET for UG program will have three (3) sections of 150 multiple choice questions for 150 marks in total. The duration of the examination is 120 minutes. Negative Marking - 0.25 Marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.

** - Legal principles may be used in the logical reasoning section to test logical aptitude but the examination will not require any kind of legal knowledge or technical understanding.


Eligibility for admission
 

Candidate have passed the Higher Secondary School Examination (10+2) system or an equivalent examination thereto securing in the aggregate not less than 45% of the total marks (42% in case of OBC's and 40% for SC/ST/Person with Disability).  The Eligibility condition for admission of students under the Foreign Nationals Category shall be 65% marks in the Higher Secondary School Examination of (10+2) system or an equivalent examination.

Fees

The fees of NLU is approximately Rs 4 lac p.a.- including the hostel fees.
